Are We Really Getting Results?
Wow, my first blog insert of 2022, well a little behind but its been the busiest year of our ministry in 5 years thus far. We've released the Prophetic Insight Calendar and traveled on two international mission trips and its still February.
God is Amazingly Ready to propel us to do even more, exploits, crusades, revivals, and prophecy services. The question only becomes, if busy is the New Happy, Is God really Happy with our efforts? I must ask myself this challenging question if I am really empowering other emerging leaders successfully. Check out this video I created about the Fathering Anointing and moving as Apostles in 2022.
Are we moving Apostolically or just doing church?
In 2022 we are contemplating the endeavors of mankind especially those Christian faith endeavors upon our modern world. The impact is tangible as well as the lack there of. Against popular consensus the kingdom is not advancing as much as the early church in our ability to make disciples, we seem to be bigger in number, bigger in media exposure but what is the quality of our churches and online presence. There are three distinct characteristics of the early church of acts and Antioch that are absent in all of our organizations today.
The First one that seems to be the most startling is unity, the bible says that the early church had all things in common and everyone was on one accord. When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
The second notable foundation of the early church was its ministers moved with notable power of God. It is very disturbing if we claim to have modern day Apostles and we cannot perform half the powerful acts of the early church with all of our modern apparatus for ministry (social media and technology advances).
Third, fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. This fear created another powerful thing the early church had was fellowship that created an atmosphere of love and joy. Folks were content with that which God provided, a stark contrast to the entitlement of today. There is also great depression, divorce and deception amongst believers that is rooted in our false doctrine and false fellowship.
